About the event

Join us for a meaningful International Women’s Day experience - a guided heritage walk honouring the Samsui women, the pioneering women whose lives embodied the spirit of Give to Gain through selfless contribution, resilience, and quiet sacrifice in building Singapore. You can use your Singapore Culture Pass!

Led by a guide dressed in the iconic Samsui outfit, this immersive walk takes you through carefully curated heritage spots in Chinatown, uncovering powerful (her)stories of courage, perseverance, sisterhood, and the enduring impact of women who gave without expecting recognition - yet shaped generations.

The walk will conclude with a special fireside chat with Ms Lynn Wong, Founder of Bridging Generations, who creates immersive heritage experiences that connect communities across generations with Singapore’s cultural past, moderated by Ms Lynn Wong, our Vice President. (Yes, fireside chat by Lynn Wong x 2!)
